Thank you for choosing to support the National Sports Center for the Disabled by making a donation to Buy Joe Ski. This fundraising campaign was started by Kevin and Michael Pasqua of Brooksfield, Wisconsin. Father and son wanted to start a campaign to honor Joe Pasqua who recently passed away. Joe, Kevin’s father and Michael’s grandfather, has been a participant of the NSCD for more than 30 year. Despite being blind Joe hit the Colorado slops with determination and excitement.
The hope of Buy Joe Skis is to raise $20,000 by the end of the year. This money will help the NSCD purchase equipment that needs to be replaced yearly. Every year the NSCD replaces a third of its equipment in order to maintain skier safety and ensure that participants are using top quality gear.
All donations made to Buy Joe Skis will directly benefit the NSCD and help them continue to help the nearly 3,400 participants they serve each year.

About the National Sports Center for the Disabled
The National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD) is one of the largest outdoor therapeutic recreation and adaptive sports agencies in the world, based out of Winter Park Resort and Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Colorado. The NSCD began in 1970 providing ski lessons for children with amputations for the Children’s Hospital of Denver. Each year more than 3,000 children and adults with disabilities participate in our programs to learn more about sports and themselves. With specially trained staff and volunteers, and its own adaptive equipment lab, the NSCD teaches a variety of year-round sports and activities to individuals with almost any physical, cognitive, emotional or behavioral diagnosis.
